GREEN FUSE MEMBERSHIP
GREEN FUSE/COLUMBINE POETS ALLIANCE
GFPAA and the Columbine Poets of Colorado are joining stanzas to create an irresistible poem in action!
GFPAA is offering its members a two for one membership option in the hopes of creating a northern chapter of Columbine Poets so that GFPAA members can take advantage of the many activities and connections that Columbine has to offer, not least of which is membership in the National Federation of State Poetry Societies and all that that means in terms of conferences, contests, discounts etc. Also, the Columbine connection will make for a larger poetry community in terms of publications, readings, and workshops, hopefully increasing our capacity to reach audiences with our words, and likewise, to offer Columbine Poets the opportunity to become Green Fuse members and thus part of our publishing, reading, and workshop community. It seems a win win situation. The Columbine organization is sending their membership list in to the NFSPS during the last quarter of this year, so if you are already a GFPAA member and wish to become a dual member, simply fill out the Columbine Membership Form but send it to GFPAA at: 400 Vortex Drive, Bellvue, Co. 80512, along with your check for $45 to GFPAA and we will forward the form and appropriate amount to Columbine. If you are a new member, fill out both the GFPAA and the Columbine form, but still just send the one check for $45 to GFPAA (you may, of course, wish to become a supporting member of Columbine at a higher rate, independently). Since GFPAA memberships are also renewed during the last quarter of the year, you will, so to speak, write two poems with one pen. Confused yet? Please email greenfusepress@yahoo.com if you have any questions. We will do our best to clarify.
GFPAA memberships will now run as follows:
